Almost three quarters of the Kenya and Africa’s wealth is supported by agriculture Kenya included. With the lack or to some extend unreliable rains in most of the places in Kenya and Africa at large, Codech Kenya has come up with policies to help or/and improve agriculture in the community resulting to a stability in food security and reduction of poverty.
Codech Kenya has employed the following methods to enhance sustainable agriculture in the arid and semi arid places:
· Building earth dams
· Drilling water wells for large and small scale use
· Instilling modern farming skills to the community
All these and others are meant to improve the livelihoods of the communities living in these areas.
